Walking around Key West late at night, everything was quiet in this Northwestern corner of the city. But as I approached the twinkling lights, I could hear the activity going on behind the plastic curtain. It was time to clean up for the night and perhaps get ready for tomorrow. This "after hours" theme has been on my mind lately and has been surfacing in my work and I have a few more such paintings that I want to paint.
