Lunch with Frida

I was at a courtyard cafe in France when I spotted this diner next to me.  I loved the setting (we were all under red umbrellas) and I loved that Frida was staring back at me...as if she was saying "leave us alone". I remember thinking "take a picture...take a picture!" When I heard that voice in my head a third time, I snuck in my picture!

This painting will hang at the 2023 Fabriano in Acquarello exhibition in Bologna, Italy!
