Venice continues to fascinate me. Standing in one of their campo with my then 6 yr old granddaughter, we were enjoying the sights of the market and sounds of the birds when all of a sudden, we both stopped in our tracks! At the same time, she and I started snapping photos of these 2 overly-patterned and flamboyant people who were breezing through! It made us absolutely grin at each other! (Side note: I think patterns are the new solid, for sure, don't you?!)
