Reaching for the Sun

The live oak trees here in the Lowcountry are truly works of art, in and of themselves.  In the late afternoon sun, the peacocks head on up into the branches to roost for the night, while the peahens hide in shrubbery closer to the ground.   The world seems to settle down as the branches continue to reach for the setting sun.
