Feeling Perky II

My heart keeps going back to the Paris Flea Market where I was surrounded by so many wonderful, old things that someone, in a previous life, had cherished.  

I've UV-varnished the painting so that it can be hung without using glass.  It's mounted on a cradled birchwood panel.  The sides of the panel have been painted with a gold/copper paint so that it requires no frame.  It can hang on a wall or sit on a shelf, since the cradled panel is 1.5" thick and very flat on the bottom.
