News! Helen is the proud new owner of Indigo Fine Art Gallery which will be open September 1, 2010 with a Grand Opening on Friday, October 1 (5-8pm).
"This new gallery, housed at 102 Church Street (just South of Broad), will evoke Charleston's own elegance and charm. Featuring florals, landscapes, waterscapes and figurative works by established artists and owners, Helen K. Beacham, Paula Lonneman, and Judith Perry." ____________________________________

On May 13, 2010, Helen taught a condensed 1-day beginner's watercolor workshop as part of Sculpture in the South's Arts Education Week (in Summerville, SC). 13 new students were introduced to watercolor for the first time!

On April 17, 2010 Helen, along with 5 other artists, opened her personal studio to the public during the 2nd Annual OPEN STUDIO TOUR in Summerville, SC. Art Central Gallery raised money for Meals on Wheels of Summerville by selling tickets to the tour ($15 in advance or $20 the day of the event). The purchase of a ticket allowed you access to all 6 studios.

Helen Beacham won 2nd Place in the Landscape category in the 2010 "Wet Canvas" Online Competition, for her mixed media painting entitled "Mepkin View III". ____________________________________
In February 2010, the Goose Creek Artists Guild invited Helen to judge their Annual Exhibition, held at the N. Charleston City Gallery.
